As a postpartum doula, I aim to empower you in your parenthood journey by providing non-judgmental support. Whether you seek guidance on infant care, assistance with breast/chest-feeding, emotional and/or spiritual support, herbal remedies and more, your postpartum care will be entirely catered to you.

Unlimited phone & email support
Postpartum care visits include breast/chest-feeding support, baby care, light housekeeping, nourishing meals, emotional support, assistance with other children, and mind-body care (i.e. massage, aromatherapy, herbal remedies, somatic practices, self-care tips, and more).

Every visit begins with a check-in—I will ask you questions about your immediate needs, and we will build a plan for the visit accordingly. As a doula, it is also my role to anticipate and to be in-tune with your postpartum needs. Whether the priority is breast/chest-feeding support, sharing baby care techniques, cooking a hearty meal, or taking care of baby while you catch up on much needed sleep, I am here to support you.

While the support of family and friends is a beautiful, important thing, it may also come with a plethora of opinions and information on how “best” to care for yourself and baby. A doula, on the other hand, provides unbiased, non-judgmental support to the new parent. I support you in coming into your own and building trust in your parental abilities. This can in turn allow you to build stronger boundaries and communication with loved ones, encouraging them to support you in the ways you need.

Holistic postpartum doula care entails a more nuanced approach to your postnatal journey. As a member of your support team, I take into account the entirety of your situation and offer solutions and care catered to your physical, emotional, and informational needs. I look at ways in which I can tend to the home, to baby, and to the family, valuing the importance of nurturing the postpartum body just as equally.

While a nanny’s focus is to care for the baby or babies, a postpartum doula’s approach is to care for the entire family. A doula is an encyclopedia of information on the perinatal experience, and it is their role to support you in building confidence in your parental abilities.
